The area is known for the Strawberry Hill House, a majestic Gothic revival villa from the 1700s, which began as a modest house with 5 acres of land and was converted into a Gothic castle on 46 acres of land. Other notable attractions and landmarks include the St Mary's University, Radnor Gardens and Strawberry Hill railway station, which is managed by the South West Trains. The trains connect Strawberry Hill to London Waterloo via Wimbledon and Richmond.
