Biggin Hill - the Small District With a Big Heart!
Biggin Hill is a suburban district in the London borough of Bromley. It’s an agreeable and friendly place to live, and has its fair share of anecdotes to tell. Its post code area is TN16, and it’s a high flyer in terms of places to live in Greater London. It gets its name from the nearby airport of the same name - the Biggin Hill Airport has history spanning back to the Second World War, where it was used by the RAF to conduct several important operations. Today, the airport is best known for the annual Festival of Flight - an air-show that highlights Biggin Hill’s aerial significance. With our feet firmly on the ground, there are still things to talk about. Biggin Hill is connected to a few of the nearby villages via Transport for London bus routes - so it’s easy to access Catford, Downham, New Addington, etc via these routes.
